Expectations:
- Education background in M.com, MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant is preferred.
- Good knowledge & understanding in accounting.
- Some earlier experience/expertise in Yardi/ERP will be an added advantage.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with people regardless of their technical skill set.
- Expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio.
- Focus on best practices and provide recommendations to clients.
- Candidate should be Open to travel onsite for short term / Long term assignments on need basis Domestic/International.
- Candidate should be open to work in different time zones.

- Review and understand specification document, prepare a road map for development process, ensure self testing is documented to ensure smoothdeliveryfrom technical aspect.
You Should Be Well Versed with The Process Of

- Business Process Mapping & Yardi Configuration
- Conducting custom functions / proceduresfor reviews
- Doing RCA for any technical issue reported
- Providing accurate data fixes to remove data corruption.
- Providing solutions to user queries and issues
- Conducting trainings

Work Essentials:
1. General Accounting:
- Overseeing all aspects of accounting for a portfolio of multifamily properties.
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Managing end-of-month closing procedures, including bank reconciliations and accruals.
- Produce annual year-end reconciliations – CAM, percentage rent, insurance, utilities, real estate taxes, etc.
Financial Reporting:
- Analyse, Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for properties under management using Yardi reports.
- Provide commentary and explanations for financial results.
- Generate customized financial reports as needed by management.
- Providing solutions to user queries and issues
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in Yardi.
- Reconcile accounts and address any discrepancies.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist an updating of budgets and forecasts on Yardi.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and provide explanations for any deviation.
Service Charge Reconciliation:
- Onboarding new properties.
- Prepare and present regular service charge reports to internal stakeholders, such as property managers and finance teams.
- Service Charge Reconciliation on Yardi on completion of SC year for all tenants.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and Yardi software updates.
Should be willing to work in Global Shifts & Open for relocation/travel domestically & internationally.
